I have many fond memories of our families having great fun, going on picnics together and visiting one another when we were kids. My parents and Louise and Jim enjoyed their retirement years with two other couples who had been friends for many years - taking trips, playing cards, just getting together for an evening.
Louise was the last of the group to leave us. They will all be missed; but they left behind a wonderful legacy for their children of how special lifelong friendships are.
