I just returned from a month in Florida, and am so sad and shocked to learn of Tavin's passing. I loved having Tavin in French class, and I still remember how he amazed us with his culinary talent at our first French Club Dinner. I am so sorry that I missed his Celebration of Life; the Tavin I knew was full of fun and life. I wish I could have conveyed my condolences in person, but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Kathy Olney

I taught Tavin in middle school. I remember the one constant with Tavin was that he was going to make you laugh or smile at least once during the course of the class. He had a great sense of humor that was always on point, and he was kind to his classmates. His eyes always had a little twinkle in them that made you wonder what he would do next. My condolences to his family, so sorry for your loss.
