Obituary of Jane H. Storace
Jane H. Storace, 80, of Rome, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at home. She was born in Pine Grove, PA, on November 8, 1941 daughter of the late Howard and Grace Hikes Hatter. Jane graduated from Rome Free Academy. She was married to the late Donald Storace. Jane was a bus driver for the VVS School District for over twenty-eight years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Canastota. Jane enjoyed being with her family and traveling.
Surviving are four sons; Todd Storace, Camden, NY, Donald Storace, Parish, NY, James Storace, Brian and (Angie) Storace, all of New Hampshire, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald, a daughter, Frances Storace Martin, a sister, Marge Fessler and a brother, James Hatter.
The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to Jane's dearest friends; Patricia Clark, Bonnie Goetz and Bonnie Gerwig, for their care and compassion shown to Jane.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Grace Lutheran Church, 3965 Carter Rd., Canastota, NY. There are no calling hours.
