Whenever we saw Ron, he had a twinkle in his eye like he was up to something. I came to know Ron through my husband and racing. Ted played football with Ron in school and they would ride around town in his big Lincoln. They both liked to party.
Whenever we hear the song, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," we think of Ron. He would go bonkers over that song.
Ron fought his battle for a long time. He never showed any self pity or complained. He lived each day to the fullest.
He will be missed.
