Memories from Margaret Pace Paterson, his younger sister:
He was a good brother who did a lot for me when we were growing up.
When we went to elementary school, the snow was so deep he put me on his shoulders and carried me home.
He was proud of his Navy military service.
When I went to school dances, he bought me all my prom gowns. He was always generous and bought many gifts throughout his life for people.
When my children were born, he drove my mother down from Rome, NY, to Virginia in a nice Cadillac. He had a good camera and took really nice photos of everyone.
But most of all, he really loved Corvettes. He also really enjoyed reading his books.
He had a good long life, and he enjoyed it. He liked to work out but few people know that he once played the saxophone. He enjoyed taking long car trips in his corvette or other car to see the outdoors. He really enjoyed visiting Canada.
Now he is in heaven with his mother.

A gentle man who loved his cars, his family, and Snoopy cartoons of the Red Baron. He enjoyed working out and being healthy. Sending love and light to those who will miss him most, may his memory be a blessing.
He had an amazing SLR camera when we were little and he took the most lovely photographs of my sisters and me that are true treasures. I couldn't say his name when I was little, but remember him fondly as Unka Dosah.
I hope heaven has a Route 66 with no Speed Limit!
