Obituary of Theresa E. Muscarella

Theresa Edna Muscarella, 90, of Rome, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the home of her son, Paul Muscarella, in Oswego, NY, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was born in Florence, NY, on December 7, 1930 daughter of the late Adelbert and Margaret Obrine Perrigo. On July 5, 1947 she married Louis Muscarella in Rome, NY. He passed away in 1999. Theresa was a former member of St. Peter's Church in Rome. Surviving are sons; Richard Muscarella, Utica, NY, Anthony and (Eleanor "NiNi") Muscarella, Earlville, NY, Jerry Muscarella, Utica, Paul (Judy) Muscarella, Oswego, daughters; Rosemary (Charles) Kennedy, Lakewood, FL, Janet (Anthony) Oliver and Darlene (Duane) Hicks, all of Utica, twenty-three grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Louis, two sons; Louis Jr., and Joseph Muscarella, a daughter, Anna Lackey, two grandsons; Anthony and Robert Muscarella, brothers; Daniel, John, William and Robert Perrigo, sisters, Veronica, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Helen, Ann, Frances, Mary, and Margaret. The family wishes to express a special thank you to daughter-in-law, Judy, for taking such good care of Theresa for the last five years. Graveside Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Cemetery on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 12:00 noon. There are no calling hours.
