Obituary of Jenny M. Vaccaro

Jenny M. Vaccaro, 103, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Healthcare Facility. She was born in Rome, NY, on July 4, 1917, daughter of the late Angelo and Grace Vaccaro. Jenny attended Rome Schools. She was a former employee of Rome Knitting Mills and retired from Rome State School. Jenny was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers: James, Dominick and Sandy Vaccaro, five sisters; Pauline Gratch, Nellie Vaccaro, Mary Bommarito, Margaret Mariano and Louise Carissimo.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to all of Jenny's nieces and nephews.

A  Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday July 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church.  Burial was held in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.   There were no calling hours.
