I am so sorry to learn of John's passing. I worked with John in putting on the Frederick Marathon 15+ years ago. He was a caring and kind man; meticulous in his work; passionate about running. He will be missed.

To John’s family I offer my deepest condolences over the recent loss of a wonderful friend. Our friendship began in 1973. However time took us on different paths in life, but I’m sure we will meet again one day my friend. You were a hero and your accomplishments proved it. Rest In Peace, your trusted pal.

Sorry to hear of John's passing. I am also in construction and was a field worker until I was promoted to the office. John was a patient mentor and teacher. We became good friends over the years and traveled some together, mornings were usually tough. His sense of humor and sarcasm always had me smirking, lot of good memories. He will be missed. ~RM Syracuse, NY

John will be fondly remembered by all his friends at RFA. Though distance separated us for many years, we will smile whenever we think of kindness and congeniality. Sending heartfelt condolences to his family. Former classmate Vicki Facchino Cole

John, we will miss your friendship, your smile, your laugh. Set up a good running course, a fun race and a good track so when we meet you again we can enjoy running together again.
Love you man.
