I was blessed to know Kati at different times in her life. At work she was a strong dedicated part of a team that worked to provide loving care to elderly patients in our trust. I was around Kaiti as she learned to go on after the death of her husband. Again Kaiti was strong. Her love for her family was fierce! I came again to be with her as she returned to that same place she worked so hard at. My hope is I was able to give her the same love and compassion she showed so many! I will continue to hold Kaiti in memories. It was a privilege to share a tiny part of her life. My sympathy for her family

My mother, Frances Lombino. worked with Katie at the hospital and I had the privilege of knowing her. She was a kind and sharing person. I remember the beautiful crocheted afghans she gave to my family. My sincere condolences to the family.

Katie was my nurse at Rome Memorial Hospital when I was in the pediatric ward as a kid. She was so friendly and kind that I never forgot her. She even made popcorn at home and brought it to me in the hospital. The world is a little poorer with the loss of this wonderful lady. Rest in peace, Katie. You earned it.
