Mrs. Marie was one of the greatest lunch ladies that has ever served. If you were to mention her name and picture to anyone who passed through Ridge Mills in the 1990s... They would remember her smile, laugh, and great stories. She has touched the hearts of many generations of Romans.
May her memory never be forgotten, and her spirit will live on in all those she took care of.
