Dear Patty and Family:
Just learned of Joe's passing. Our condolences on your loss.
Joe was a fun guy, always with a laugh. He could see humor in most anything. I (Jim) worked with him at MVPC and at times rode into Utica with him to work. He could regale us with stories that made the trip down Rte. 49 seem short.
Good-bye, Joe. Rest in peace, Fellow Worker.

I am sad to learn of the passing of Joe. I have many fond memories of Joe when he covered as a nurse administrator for Pinefield. Joe was always fair and respectful to both staff and kids. I had a great respect for Joe’s knowledge and guidance. I am sure he has left a great void to both his family and community.

Dear Mastrangelo Family, I worked with Joe in the late 70s, early 80s at Marcy-what a good guy ! Every now and then, he and Charlie"Jake"Jacobs would give me a lift home to Rome, when my car was acting up . He never was successful in getting me to join the Reserves! My heartfelt condolences, he will surely be missed!

I was extremely saddened to hear the news of Joe's passing. I had the honor of working with him while at Griffiss AFB in the AF and consulted with him many times about outside military issues. On occasion I had the honor of seeing him around town before I left Rome in 1997, and even on occasion when I would return for visits. As you well know he was an amazing man! I admired him tremendously as his integrity, dedication to his friends and each and every mission he undertook was unsurpassed. I loved his laugh and his love of life and indefinite optimism. My heart and prayers are with you all as each day forward you continue to remember and miss those little things. I know Joe is celebrating being with his heavenly Father and looking forward to the day to be reunited with each of you. In Love, Martha Mock

Dear Patty and family
I am so saddened by Joey’s passing and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I went to Nursing school with Joe and we would car pool together with Nancy Troutman, and Sharon Sorensen ..on different days we would pick Joey up and give the neighbors something to talk about ..he would get in the car with a blonde,a brunette and a redhead. ..He was such a great guy.with an infectious smile and great sense of humor..He loved his family, his Country, his military brothers and sisters and his friends . I am so happy I was able to see him this summer. His suffering is over and he is at peace . I will miss my friend ..Hugs from Georgia Jean (that’s what he called me )

My condolences to the family. Joe and I were pals in highschool. Lost touch after highschool, but knew Joe was in the medical field. Glad he was a part of my life, if only for a short time.

Cousin Pat,
Even though I was not around the family since my Mom passed, I had the pleasure to meet all of you when my Grandma Tag passed. All of you made me feel very welcome in your home and reminded me of what family is.. I'm so sad the hear about Cousin Joe, he was such a kind man to me. He will be missed.

Deepest sympathy to the Mastrangelo and Esposito families on the passing of Joe. Knew him from the time he and my brother Greg played Pop Warner Football for St. John the Baptist Church. A great loss. Always had a big smile when we ran into each other. May he rest in peace.
