Obituary of Nicholas R. Domenico

Nicholas R. Domenico , 70, of Palm Harbor, Fla., passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008, after a brief illness. He was born in Rome, N.Y. on September 11, 1938, son of the late Nicholas and Florence Occhipento Domenico. Nicholas was educated in Rome Public Schools and honorably served for four years in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his retirement, Nicholas worked as a barber for Rome D.D.S.O. and McDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla. On October 2, 1965, he married Rosemary Ross. Mr. Domenico was a former member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving besides his loving wife, Rosemary, are three children, Nicholas Domenico III, Palm Harbor, Fla., Frank Domenico, Jacksonville, Fla., Theresa Domenico, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a grandson, Anthony Domenico, Jacksonville, Fla. Also surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, John and Patricia Domenico, Rome. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10;15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
