... It's hard to believe you're gone. You were a wise-cracking, smart ass but could also be counted on when times were tough. We had a lot of good times down in Clearwater... you made the long, exhaustive, trip a fun vacation. Brian seen him a few years back when his truck broke down and Shane was working for Ellingers and had to give Brian a tow. Sham, my big brother.. I cant even know where to begin this is so unreal. I just want you to know that I love you and miss you so much already I dont know what the future is going to be.. Our late night calls that was the best I always knew that you would be the one that was gonna answer the phone, and when mine cell would ring im like yup must be Sham. Memories are picturesque treasures of yesteryear: I fondly recall the picnics at Willow Island. The panic of Fish Creek... "Be careful of that water!" And there was the food! You had an appetite that matched your aunt's! Holiday gatherings were an awesome treat. This is where the adults relished the eager excitement of the young. And there was the food...We all appreciated Gramma's Lasagna, for no one could duplicate her creation. Then the years of childhood left and you became an adult, eager to scout the world. I will miss your jokes and those moments of surprise; I could never keep up with you! I never knew what you were going to say next! I loved that element of surprise. Thank you for the birthday gift...the car...I will treasure it always. I miss you.
