Obituary of Bennie S. Diliberto

Bennie S. Diliberto Bennie S. Diliberto, 62, of Rome, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016. He was born on March 4, 1954, in Rome, NY, son of Benedetto S. and Violet Bauerle Diliberto. Bennie was a graduate of Rome Free Academy Class of 1972 and received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Utica College in 1976. He retired from customer service at Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. Bennie was an alumni member of TKE Fraternity. He was a member of St. Peter's Church. Surviving besides his parents, Benedetto and Violet Diliberto, Rome are a brother, Michael Diliberto, his wife Pauline Clark of Leesburg, VA , his nieces , Brittany Diliberto, and Ashley Rivero and a nephew, Nicholas Rivero. Also surviving are many special friends and family; too numerous to name individually, but all with a special place in his heart. Bennie loved his county and had great respect for veterans and first responders and supported their many causes. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
