I was deeply saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I always thought of him as my very own grandfather. He was a great musician who supported our little group when we were up and coming in high school. Showing up to our gigs early, staying late, donating his equipment, and always helping out. Miss and love you Grandpa Joe.

To the entire family,I would like to offer my condolences to a truly wonderful,giving,caring, and gifted man. I performed with Joe for many years, and became aware of his musicianship, and of his unwavering belief in giving the audience the best possible entertainment wherever he performed. I learned a great deal from him, as far as a musician, and also ability to be thankful for what the lord gave you, and to use those gifts to the fullest. Sadly, we lost contact with each other, but will always cherish those great years we had performing together, and his wonderful sense of humor, his jokes, and my having to correct him, on some of the lyrics to the songs. Yes, we have lost another member of the musical family. A truly respected, and admired gentleman of music. God bless.

I jut learned that Joe passed and am sad to hear the news. Joe was larger than life and I guess I just thought he would defy death and live forever. I worked with Joe for many years in Sal Alberico's band, shared many meals with him at Danny Falatico's. He was a terrific man and his stories were better and more entertaining than a Cecil B. DeMille movie. Joe was a giant in so many ways. I am so happy that he lived a long full life but even the longest life is too short. I am sorry for his family. The void he leaves is huge. My condolences to Sue, Jacklyn, Aaron, and the rest of this wonderful family. Reading this obituary, I can't help to think what a long, wonderful, and rich life Mr. Yozzo lived. His accomplishments were incredible. I am grateful to have known him through his granddaughter, Jacklyn, and to have listened many times to the beautiful music he played. You could always see & feel the joy it brought to him. May you forever Rest In Peace <3
