I am sorry for your loss. Twice every semester, I would bring my class to the TV studio in Instructional Resources and Elaine was always pleasant and patient as we bothered her for tape, or staples, or magic markers, or post its, etc. to help set up cue lines. Just before taping students are usually anxious and she was a calming influence. Her presence will be missed.

I was lucky enough to work with Elaine at Jervis Library many years ago. It was my first job and I enjoyed it, but especially if I was working the same hrs as Elaine. She was kind, friendly, and funny. She also had the best laugh; I can still hear it as I think of her.
You are a lucky family to have loved and been loved by Elaine. Take care.

To the Family of Elaine.
Our sincere condolences to you and your family. It seems like such a short while ago that I spoke to Elaine on the telephone as we were located in 2 different buildings. I have had numerous occasions to call Elaine at SUNYIT and whenever she answered the telephone you could tell that she always had a "smile" on her face!! Elaine was an extremely helpful and lovely person!! We have lost a very valuable colleague but you have lost a very special family member!!
