To The Family: I am very very sorry for the loss of Mom. I've known you all my life and your dad knew my dad really well. Your mom was awesome and she is now looking down from a place that we all hope we can join when it is time.
God bless you all.
with love
Greg Turner
P.S. I still don't know how the school bus never hit your house when it came up the very narrow Frank St from East Dominick St. I remember seeing your Mom on the side of the house all the time.

My deepest condolences to the entire Monterastelli family. While in college I met Emo's mother on several occasions and was warmly invited to dinner with the family along with several other friends one chilly March. What a wonderful time we had-a beautiful memory of great food and laughs.
While I am so sorry to hear of her passing-I'm sure she is at peace and my prayers are with her, Mario, and your entire family.

Our sincerest sympathy to the Monterastelli family. I met Mrs. Monterastelli while attending college with Lisa. She was such a warm, caring person and always asked us how we were doing and was always concerned with our well being. She was like a second mother to us. She brought us food (wonderful pizzelle's), which we always appreciated. When we had the opportunity to go to Mr. & Mrs. Monterastelli's home in Rome, we were treated like royalty. We were served delicious Italian food that was clearly made with tremendous love, and were told wonderful stories that would make us laugh, and of course told to eat more and more until we were beyond full. They would open their home to us college girls who yearned for some home time, and were always generous and gracious.
God has received a true angel and she is now at peace in his loving arms. May God's grace help you during the difficult days ahead, and hopefully you will find comfort in knowing that she is at peace. God Bless, Lisa and Joe Sayre
