Teresa and family,
Saddened by Sam's passing. He was so loyal to my mother, Rose Vaccaro. She so enjoyed their little visits while reliving their chiidhood as children of immigrants. What a great life! Please accept our condolences of the passing of cousin Sammy..
with love

My condolences to the Ferrari family.
When visiting my mother at the Terraces at Woodland, I would often see Sam sitting in the hallway.
We would chat about music in Rome, N.Y. His love and passion for high quality music was obvious. He had respect for all serious musicians.
Sam was a good friend to my father and my father's brother William Chiacaferro.
When our Highland Winds Clarinet Quartet performed at the Terraces, Sam was in the first row with a big smile on his face and moving to the music. He loved it!
I know Sam was very proud of his entire family and especially his son Christian, a member of the U.S. Marine Band, the "President's Own".
respectfully and musically,
John Flaver

My thoughts and prayers are with the Ferrari family. Mr. Ferrari, "Sal", was the epitome of a gentleman. He treated me with love and respect from the day I met him. I felt his genuine way and knew that I was talking to a man of strength and dignity. No doubt he was sizing me up when I first met him but when I was in, "I was in"! I guess that was the Italian coming out. I only wish I would've had more encounters with Mr. Ferrari but that being said, I'm truly blessed to have known him, his son and the rest of his family. What a legacy he has left. Chris he was so very proud of you and your accomplishments. Peace to all of you and may Mr. Ferrari rest in peace alongside his beautiful bride who's been awaiting patiently for him. God bless you all. May your family come together and feel the love and support from each other and your many friends.

John Flaver called to tell me about the passing of your father. I'll always remember your Dad on Saturday mornings at Onondaga Music. He was tremendously proud of his son because he had the courage to make music his profession. The 12 year old Chivas Regal
Is now probably 37 years old because we're such boozers.....you and your friend, a
Trombonist, lugged 2 boxes of top of the line liquor to our house in Marcellus. This was his way of saying thank you. He was a great guy and he will be missed.

My Heartfelt Sympathy goes to Sam's Family. As a young girl I worked for Sam at the Capitol Restaurant. He was an Excellent Employer, a very respected man. I am proud to have had the opportunity to work for him. Sam taught me a lot. Sam and his wife Gabe were excellent business owners in Rome NY, all who enjoyed their food, and had contact with them should be proud. Many times I have looked back on my life and can honestly say working at the Capitol was a happy time for me. You will wear Angel Wings Sam and watch down on all. May God Bless You, Rest In Peace. God Bless the Ferrari family!
