Harold David Crye
Harold D. Crye, 73, of Rome passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Syracuse Veterans Medical Center, Syracuse. He was born in Alexandria, LA, on February 18, 1942 son of the late Harold Houston and Peggy Eggerton Crye. Harold served with the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1967. He was formerly employed by P & C Food Market and retired from Tops Friendly Markets. He was a member of H.P. Smith Post # 24 American Legion and UFCW. Harold was a frequent patron of the Iron Kettle Restaurant, where he was known as "The Toastmaster Deluxe"
Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. on Wednesday August 26, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. Private Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
