Madeline M. Loparco
Madeline M. Loparco, 92, of Rome passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rome, NY on April 18, 1923 daughter of the late Albert C. and Rose Serra Bove. Madeline graduated from Proctor High School, Utica. On February 9, 1946 she married Anthony P. Loparco. He passed away December 17, 2006. Madeline retired in 1985 from Griffiss Air Force Base. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law; Paul and Rosalie Loparco, Floyd, Richard and Kimberly Loparco, FL, a brother Anthony Bove, CT, a sister and brother-in-law Theresa and Albert Quattro, FL and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
