Barbara Ann Storms
Barbara A. Storms, 62, of Blossvale passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at
Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on May 5, 1953, daughter of the late Servical Vlaun and Wilma Mae Fort. Barbara married Paul M. McAllister in Texas. He passed away September 4, 1987. She later married William S. Storms in Rome, NY. He passed away on December 25, 2014.
Surviving are three brothers and a sister-in-law; Robert Fort, Randolph, VT, Edmund and Patty Rakowsky, Irasburg, VT, Ricky Rakowsky, North Chesterfield VA, six sisters and three brothers-in-law; Helen and Dan Irons, Richmond, VA, Mary Rakowsky, Hardwick, VT, Wilma Rakowsky and her companion Ken Lindsey, Springvale, ME, Ruth and Allen Nunley, Winchester, TN, Sue and Ken Piersall, Canastota, NY, Maureen and Dana Brink, Woodstock, VT, several nieces and nephews and a very dear friend, Dale Casterella.
There are no calling hours or services. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Rome, Inc., P. O. Box 4572, Rome, NY, 13442-4572. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
