David P. Muscarella David P. Muscarella, 48, of Lee Center, our hero, peacefully left this earth to be with God, on Saturday, June 06, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Rome, NY, on September 3, 1966 son of Joseph P. and Barbara Simon Muscarella. David graduated from Rome Catholic High in 1984. He was past President and member of the Rome Radio Club for many years and spent many enjoyable times with the friends he made in the club. Surviving besides his mother, Barbara Muscarella, Lee Center, a brother, Lauren Muscarella and his fiancé Joreen Russell, Clark Mills, special aunt and uncle Judy and Chris McCarthy, Rome, special aunt Maryann Anderson, Verona, cousins Glen and Joan Anderson, Rome, Mark Anderson, Verona, Deborah and Mike Gaiser, Vernon, very special friends, Chet and Joe Bochnak, Lee Center, God parents Pat and Don Henderson, Rome and his dog and best buddy "Max". David was predeceased by his father, Joseph P. Muscarella who passed away on July 7, 2004. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Benjamin and the Upstate Medical Center and Dr. Schiker for the care and compassion they showed to David throughout his battle. Funeral Services are private. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. In keeping with David's request, there will be no calling hours.
