Obituary of Domenica Calicchia

Domenica Calicchia Dominica Calicchia, 78, of Mohawk Street, Rome, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009, at home. She was born in Rome, Italy on July 15, 1930, daughter of the late Natali and Egzia Calicchia. On September 12, 1949, she married Aldo Calicchia in Veroli, Italy. Mrs. Calicchia was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving besides her husband, Aldo, are a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Roberto Botticelli, two granddaughters, Cristina and her husband Frank Martinez III, Stefanie Botticelli, and a great grandson, Frank Martinez IV, all of Rome. Also surviving are brothers, sisters and in-laws in Italy. She was predeceased by a daughter, Luigia Calicchia, who passed away in 1972. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
