Obituary of Louis J. DiDone

Louis J. DiDone Louis J. DiDone, 56, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 15, 2015. He was born in Rome, New York on March 16, 1958 a son of the late Louis S. and Josephine (Lanza) DiDone. Louis was a graduate of Rome Free Academy, Mohawk Valley Community College, and Empire State College. On August 18,1979, he married Patrice Clark in St. Mary's Church. He previously worked as a process engineer at Revere Copper Products, having worked there for over 30 years. Louis was an avid bowler and golfer. During his brief retirement he enjoyed growing garlic in his garden and making homemade wine. Surviving are his loving wife Patrice (Clark) DiDone, son Louis P. DiDone, Rochester, NY, son and daughter-in-law Kyle C. and Lauren Yannuzzi DiDone, Buffalo, NY, a sister and brother-in-law, Ascenza (DiDone) and Philip Montalbano, Rochester, NY, a sister-in-law Sheila (Clark) Harrell, Waterloo, IL, nieces Ascenza Montalbano-Pla, Louisa M. Montalbano, Tracy Knight, Susan Knight, and Melissa Gregson, and great nieces and nephew, as well as many close friends including, David Aquino, John Salerno, Ron Ciotti, Farrell and Cathy Taffher, Sonny & Margaret Armeno and his beloved dog, Darby. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. and at St. John the Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
