Douglas P. Santillo
Douglas P. Santillo, 59, of Port Leyden, formerly of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford. He was born in Rome, NY, on September 19, 1955 a son of the late Pasquale and Norena Coccagnia Santillo. He was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are three sisters, a twin sister Diane and husband Renae Carlberg, GA; Patricia and husband Robert Ludwig, Schuyler; Eleanor Jones and companion Les Doolen, Clark Mills, Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, including a niece Gioia and Mike Wishart, Rome. He was predeceased by three brothers; Nicholas, Pasquale, and Joseph Santillo.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Holland Patent DDSO along with Sandy for the care and compassion shown to Doug.
Funeral Services will be private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. Rome.
