Palma "Lucy" Kaczmarski
Palma "Lucy" Kaczmarski, 84, of Rome, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Rome Hospital Residential Health Care Facility. She was born in Lawrence, Mass. on March 25, 1923, daughter of the late Guiseppi and Carmela Griffo Consiglio. Lucy was educated in Rome Schools. On July 15, 1972, she married Joseph J. Kaczmarski in Rome. He passed away December 14, 2003. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Lucy will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Eugene and Debra Bilodeau, Michael Bilodeau, and a daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Albert Scerra, all of Rome: five grandchildren, Tracie and Daniel Kunkel, Virginia Beach, Va., Eugene Joseph Bilodeau, Rome, Cory A. Bilodeau, Rome, Mellisa Bilodeau, Charlotte, N.C., and Kristi Dupuis, Rome; a great granddaughter, Madison Kunkel. Also surviving are four sisters and a brother-in-law, Rose Szczesniak and Jenny Kenny, both of Rome, Florence Weber, New Jersey, and Dolores and Billy Williams, Rome; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Marge Consiglio, Joseph Jr. and Virginia Conciglio, all of Rome; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Felicia Pirillo, and three brothers, Angelo Consiglio, Anthony Bucky Consiglio, and Michael Consiglio, and also brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Healthcare Facility.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. John the Baptist Church at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
