Obituary of Dina Lucci Higgs

Dina Lucci Higgs Dina Lucci Higgs, 95, of Blossvale, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on June 23, 1912, daughter of the late Rocco and Pasqua Capponi Lucci. Dina married Arthur J. Higgs who passed away April 14, 1982. She retired from Revere Rome Manufacturing. Dina was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and Rome Moose Club. Surviving are a sister, Josephine Peroni, a brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Jennie Lucci, a sister-in-law, Yolanda Lucci, a brother-in-law, Tom Procopio, all of Rome: and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Peter Lucci and Albert Lucci, and four sisters, Mary Bruno, Rose Stewart, Emma Malorzo and Lena Procopio. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, INC., 218 W. Court St., Thursday (today) from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church Memorial Fund or a charity of ones choice.
