Kate added a whole new dimension to the meaning of 'gracious.' I am so glad that Marie and the 'Camp Bell' gang had a chance to get to know her. I will never forget Jessica and Shelley going through her stuff as toddlers and making a big mess. Kate just followed behind, patiently putting things back and keeping them safe.

Prayers and condolences for you and your family on the death of Mrs. Adolfi. Barbara, fond memories of many things but our luncheon in Annapolis was the last time I was with you all. I was sorry to learn that she also had endured Parkinson's, like my parents. Arrivederci, B

Significant characters have always been an influence in my life. Aunt Kate was one of them. My fondest memory of her was coming into The Store and have her wave from the window above the butcher shop. She loved a good laugh, and was a cook of few equals. And when she and some of those equals of Adolfi women did rigatoni with sauce and meatballs at Nazies camp on Otter lake.....It was best to stay out of that tiny kitchen and be ready for some of the finest food that ever waifed its scents across the Adirondack back woods.
I will miss you Kate and I cannot ever express the pride and joy I know from knowing you. And to Hank Barb and Nancy and the grandkids, I can only wish for the passing of time to ease the pain of your loss but never the memories. We will all hope for the same with us.

I'll always remember the excitement my brothers and I had whenever we were told that we were on our way to Uncle Joe's and Aunt Kate's home for some family gathering.
The ecitement soon led to fime food and loving family and the air would resonate with heart felt belly laughs well into the night.
I love Aunt Kate. She would always greet us with a kiss and a hug even if you saw earlier that day. I'll miss you but I'm sure that Uncle Sam, Uncle Joe, Uncle Frank and the rest are glad to have you back around the table for a good laugh.
I love you Aunt Kate!
