"Gram" as many of us called her was an inspiration to me. Never a bad word to say about anyone. Never a complaint. She was always upbeat and happy. She always made you feel good inside. She was loved by many, disliked by no one. She was like family to me. I will always remember that sweet smile. God Bless you, Gram. Love, "Dolly"

Margaret was my friend, and like a grandmother to me, and a woman in whom I admire and looked up to. She taught me so many life lessons: she taught me the meaning of unconditional love, the years of hard work, days of old and baking the bread by hand, the meaning of family and how to cherish each day and never sweat the small stuff, she taught me how to knock on wood for luck and to pray to the saints. Margaret taught me that no matter what the age difference is, there can always be a common bond. She taught me the stregth of a woman in caring for her family, and the love shared between a mother and child and the sorrow of losing one. I learned that it was ok to cry over lost loved ones (even special pets.) Yet to enjoy life and each day that god has given us. She taught me how special it is to have friends in life, and to enjoy thier company. And how to never waste a beautiful day, but to enjoy it even more by sitting on the porch and how a friendly wave can brighten anyones day. She also taught me how the little things in life can mean so much, to not only myself but to others. She taught me the values of friendship, family, life, wisdom, but most of all a special love and bond between friends dispite such an age difference. "Meme you like a daughter to me," would be the words between us. She is in my heart and soul and in my thoughts, she was/is my family. A woman of love and value, understanding, knowledge and strength, of beauty, care and concern. A sister, an aunt, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a true and specail friend. Although I may cry for her, I know that she is looking down from the heavens above saying, 'everything is alright,' and knowing that she is with family (and kipy) makes me know she is smiling from upabove. All my love......
