Olga Procopio
Olga Procopio, 78, of Rome, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Rome Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Rome, N.Y. on April 3, 1928, daughter of the late Agostino and Elvira Macciocca Raulli. She graduated from Rome Free Academy. On September 15, 1956 she married Anthony Procopio in St. John the Baptist Church and they celebrated their 50th anniversary in September 2006 with family and friends. She was a member of St. John the Babtist Church. Though Olga loved her children and grandchildren, her favorite place to be was in Rome.
Surviving besides her husband Anthony are a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Glenn Coghlan, Springfield, Va.; a son and daughter-in-law, Rocco and Susan Procopio, Manassas, Va.; grandchildren, Sarah Coghlan, Elyse Procopio, Allison Procopio, Anthony Procopio, Shannon McGinn, Cara McGinn, and Sean McGinn. Also surviving are a sister, Lola Raulli, Utica; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Raulli, Della Ritchie, and Linda Ross; and a brother, Eustacchio Ray Raulli.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:45 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home Inc., 218 W. Court St. and at St. John the Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
