Mary J. LoVaglio
Mary J. LoVaglio, 98, of Rome, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Bethany Gardens. She was born in Rome, N.Y., on August 7, 1914 daughter of the late John and Rosalia Scazzari Spinella. On January 18, 1939 she married Joseph LoVaglio in New York City. He passed away December 30, 1967. Mary was a member of St. Mary's Church.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Barbara LoVaglio, Rome; three grandchildren Maria and her husband Bob Richie, JoAnn and her husband Scott Cook, all of Rome, Joseph and his wife Margaret LoVaglio, Blossvale and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister and brother-in-law Jean and George Joseph, Rome and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers Paul Spinella, James Spinella, Jack Spinelli, Joseph Spinelli, and Sam Spinelli and a sister and brother-in-law Jennie and Charles Bottcher.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 9:45 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 5-7 p.m.
