Robert K. Marshall
Robert K. Marshall, 50, of Rome passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Utica. He was born in Dover, DE on May 24, 1962 a son of the late Wayne R.J. and Catherine Eggink Marshall. Bob attended Oriskany Schools. On June 30, 1984, he married Joann Schipano in St. John the Baptist Church. Bob was employed at Lowes in Utica and was Department Manager at Lowes Rome store. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.
Bob enjoyed playing and coaching softball. All of his nieces and nephews were the apple of his eye. He was a fan of the NY Jets, NY Mets, and NASCAR.
Surviving besides his wife, Joann, are a son Robert J. Marshall, two sisters and a brother-in-law Melissa and Barry Dunning, Annette Marshall Magnanti and her companion Daniel Buczek, all of Rome; a brother and sister-in-law Wayne A. and Francine Marshall, Fleming Island, FL; his paternal grandmother, Georgina Marshall, Malone, NY. Also surviving are sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Antoinette Lamascolo, Barbara Calandra, Christine and Brian Storms, all of Rome, Kathy and Frank Booger, Richfield Springs, Peter and Louise Schipano, Rome; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 210 E. Dominick St. with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating, where friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
