Obituary of Rosemarie A. Scaccia

Rosemarie A. Scaccia Rosemarie A. Scaccia, 82, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Sitrin Healthcare Center, New Hartford, NY. She was born in Rochester, NY on September 22, 1930, daughter of the late Nicholas and Victoria Martarona. Rosemarie married James V. Scaccia, who passed away on November 22, 1972. Mrs. Scaccia retired as a nurse from the former Oneida County Hospital. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Diane Scaccia, Vernon, Anthony and Judy Vaccaro, Los Angeles, CA; a grandson, Vincent Vaccaro; and a brother Nicholas Martarona, Los Angeles, CA. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
