Obituary of Ottilio P. Pomento

Ottilio 'Keats' P. Pomento Ottilio "Keats" P. Pomento, 88, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the Rome Center. He was born in Rome, NY on Oct. 16, 1924, son of the late Pasquale and Pasqualina DeCicco Pomento. Keats attended Rome schools. He married Rose "Honey" Cianchetti in St. John the Baptist Church. She passed away on January 12, 2002. Keats was the owner of Keats Tile and Marble. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Elaine Pomento; three grandchildren, Tara Pomento, Brian Pomento, Derek Pomento; three great-grandchildren, Mena, Cole, and Carter Brazinski; a brother, Pasquale "Butch" Pomento, all of Rome; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Salmina Mungari and Gloria Facciolo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
