Obituary of Mary Ann Sanzone Calicchia

Mary Ann Sanzone Calicchia Mary Ann Sanzone Calicchia, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012. She was born on December 11, 1930, in Rome, NY, the daughter of the late, Samuel J. and Frances Sansone Sanzone. Mary Ann graduated from Georgian Court College, Lakewood, NJ, and completed her graduate studies at Syracuse University. Her teaching career spanned forty-two years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary-Carole S. and Christopher L. Kam; a granddaughter, Adrianna Marie, and a grandson Joshua Christopher Kam, all of Manlius, NY. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Margaret S. McHarris of Huntersville, NC; and her brother and sister-in-law, Francis (Bud) S. and Marguerite Sanzone, of Wellesley Island, NY; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and many cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J.
