Michael J. Krupiarz Michael J. Krupiarz, 89, of Rome, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rome, NY, on June 14, 1923, son of the late Michael and Kathryn Trzcirski Krupiarz. Mike attended Rome schools. He served with the US Navy as a pharmacist mate 3rd class from 1943-46. Mike served in Okinawa and received the Good Conduct Medal and Victory Medal. On Sept. 25, 1948 he married Kathryn Coniglio in St. John the Baptist Church. Mr. Krupiarz was a member of St. John the Baptist Church. Surviving besides his wife Kathryn are two daughters and sons-in-laws, Cynthia and Michael Martin, Webster, NY, Dawn Krupiarz and G. Richard Kinsella, Oneida; grandchildren Michelle and Michael Krupiarz, and Kasia Kinsella; and step grandchildren Christopher, Zarin, Dylan, and Zachary Kinsella. Also surviving are a daughter-in-law Sharon Krupiarz, sister-in-law Marian Krupiarz, Syracuse, and a niece. He was predeceased by a son, Michael J. Krupiarz, two brothers, John and Stanley Krupiarz, and two sisters, Mary Ksynowek and Josephine Krupiarz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
