PAULA WAS A VERY IMPORTANT ASSET TO THE DIAMOND CARD DEPT. PAULA WAS ALWAYS SO KIND AND SOFT SPOKEN TO ALL OUR QUEST. SHE IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL LADY AND HAD A SMILE THAT WOULD LIGHT UP A ROOM. The Versace Family It is with sadness that I heard of Paula's death.I remember the great time I had visiting Frank and Louise,your father and mother,above the East Side Grocery. I can understand why Paula could make room for anyone in her home,Her mother and father were fantastic people,always treating you like one of the family. My father, Robert,always told me that Frank was like a brother.May your soul rest in peace.

I am so saddened to hear of Paula's passing. I have such good memories of her...my dad and stepmom (Pete & Mary Fitsik) lived on the same court with Paula. Paula would always stop in and visit with them and bring one of her grandchildren who loved my dad's tomatoes. I would occasionally visit with her at my parent's house when I would visit in the summer. She was a very caring and loving person. I will pray for her and for her family.

I knew Paula as a member of the social dance community in Syracuse. I had not seen Paula in several years as I now live in Rochester. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember her as a very friendly and warm person who will be missed by many.

I (Mary Careddu) am a first cousin of Paula's mom. The last time I saw Paula in person was in Sebring, Fl. We all got together for lunch with Paula's siblings Gina and Patrick, Gina's husband Bill and her children Tess and Anthony. It was a very happy occasion. It is these occasions that we must keep in our hearts to get through moments like our loss of Paula. My heartfelt sympathy to her family.

Paula became my sister-in-law 46 years ago and always felt more like a true sister. I am fortunate to have shared so many years and memories with her. She raised three beautiful children and was blessed on the arrival of her five grandchildren. She really treasured her "nona" role. I will miss her very much. My deepest condolences to her children and her grandchildren and her siblings. Nothing can prepare you for such a loss.

Jaclyn, Tracy, Tim - I'm very sorry for your loss and have been praying for you and your family daily. Paula was a beautiful person. I was at Frank's house for a pic nic several years ago - when I was pregnant with Jake. I had Ava on my lap and I remember asking her about how I could possibly love anyone else. She said to me, with faith and conviction, 'You just make more love...'. I knew she was speaking from experience, just as she made more love for you and for your children..
