So sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a good friend to us. I'll remember with fondness hanging out by the pool, fishing in the sound, and karaoke nights with Jules.
Our thoughts are with Jules and Lesley at this difficult time. No words we offer can ease the pain. Only time will do that. RIP John.

I was saddened to hear today of John's passing. He was a fine man and it was a pleasure serving with him in the U S Army. I am sure you are all devastated and it would be hard for me to imagine the pain all of you are feeling with this loss. May our Lord please be with all of you and comfort you during this time. I will always appreciate John for his and Agnes' kindness and friendship along with the fact that he introduced me to all of you when I first came to Utica. John was so proud of all of his family and he loved you all very much. The one thing for sure is that we will all meet up again in heaven and John will be without pain and suffering. God bless all of you and keep you all filled with the love and remembrance of a great guy.
Sincerely
Phil Sparks 1SG, (retired)

So many memories - Fuels, our bowling league, and everyone coming in hung over the next day, playing cards at work, and musical Trivia Pursuit. Although you were good, you were shocked that I knew the song title and female who sang with Elton John (Don't Go Breaking My Heart - Kiki Dee). You were a super good guy, a great carpenter and jack of all trades who helped me out, and a proud father. Julia, my sympathy to you and your family. May you wrap yourself in the memories of your loved ones who have left this earth far too soon.

Having you as a little brother has been one hell of a time. From when we were young and you teaching me how to throw a ball and use a baseball glove because you felt that if I was going to do this I better throw like a boy, to spending summer at our camp, and fighting with our older brother. I'm so glad tha I was ther with you your last few days and to help ease your pain. Even though we were far away from each other we were still close. I was able to meet all of your friends and coworkers and feellike I never left you. I know you are in a better place now and are not suffering. Someday we will be together again at the camp in summer having a great time. Love you lots Johnny (I know I was the only one to call you that), your big sister, Gina

This last week has reminded me of so many memories of working with Mr G. at Eglin. He was a POL icon. Being so far from home, he was like having my own dad at work. I will always remember him standing in the doorway at Bulk Storage, waiting for a truck to roll in. Godspeed G.

John you were a very influencial perspon in my life, a mentor and a true and trusted friend. I knew every morning that the coffee was cooked, the peanut butter chees crackers were eaten and everything was right in the world. The nicknames made ya more approachable and personable. You triedc your best to be a hardass but to most you were just a great guy. I miss you very much and know the angels are in good hands.

So many wonderful memories of our time together with you, Nicki and Jules. Hanging by the pool, watching football and eating pizza and wings, singing and guitar playing by you and Thom. We were so blessed that you and Nicki were in our lives and even more blessed that Jules will continue to be. Rest in peace my dear friend, you will be missed dearly!
