Obituary of Rosalie J. Fulgieri

Rosalie J. Fulgieri Rosalie J. Fulgieri, 95, of Rome, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Healthcare Facility, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on November 1, 1915, daughter of the late Angelo and Rosalie Zaffuto. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald and Anita Fulgieri, Leesburgh, Fla., Joseph Fulgieri, Beaufort, S.C.; daughter- in-law, Janet Fulgieri, Rome. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Angelo, Maria, Michael, Anthony, Trudy, Joseph, Dominic, Jeffery and Dawn; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Fulgieri, and a son, Angelo Fulgieri. The family would like to express a very special thank you to the entire staff of 3 East at Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Healthcare Facility, for their care during her 11 years with them. You were all wonderful. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. and at St. John the Baptist Church at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
