Arthur D. Froelich Arthur D. Froelich, 92, of Westborough, MA, formerly of Rome, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Coleman House in Northborough, MA. He was born in Rome, NY on August 13, 1918, son of the late Arthur and Mary Wentworth Froelich. Arthur served in the U.S. Army during World War II and took part in the invasion of France. After the war, he worked at Rome Manufacturing. Arthur was married to the former Edna Salce, who passed away January 10, 1999. Arthur was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, who always had a smile on his face and a ready joke. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and David Golden, Westborough, MA, Barbara and Al Vaden, Fayetteville, NC. Also surviving are five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister- in-law, Bernice Salce, of Rome; and many nieces and nephews, including Paul and Pat Destito, of Rome. He was predeceased by a brother, Jack. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Coleman House for their love, kindness and support for Arthur. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, where friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund at the Coleman House, 112 W. Main St., Northborough, MA 01532. Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St.
