Joseph T. Coluccio Joseph T. Coluccio, 79, of Rome, joined his wife to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 26, 2010, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. He was born in Rome, N.Y. on May 6, 1931, son of the late Louis and Julia Coluccio. Joe graduated from Rome Free Academy. On May 12, 1956, he married Frances Schraml in St. Mary's Church. She passed away September 25, 2009. Mr. Coluccio retired from K-Mart in 1993 and was also employed at Philipson's for many years. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and was an avid fisherman. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Marie and Richard Gamez, Honolulu, HI, Loretta and Bryan Whooten, Floyd, and Nancy Schilling, Rome; a son, James J. Coluccio, Rome; grandchildren, Amy and her husband, Jason Costello, Sandra and her husband, Robert Russell Jr., Brian Schilling Jr., Laura Schilling and Lisa Schilling; great grandchildren, Brooke, Cody, Joseph and Olivia Costello, Aaron and Dylan Russell. Also surviving are a sister, Rosemary Coluccio, Rome, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, parents, and a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Bernard Lubeck. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Robert Schwartz and the ICU staff at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. from the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St., and at St. Mary's Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m.
