Obituary of Helen R. Coluccio

Helen R. Coluccio , 80, of Rome, passed away Saturday, October, 18, 2008 at St.Luke's Hospital, New Hartford. She was born in Bakers Mills, N.Y. on May 26, 1928, daughter of the late Clifford and Margaret Morehouse Denton. On July 16, 1954, she married Thomas W. Coluccio in Glens Falls, N.Y. He passed away October 6, 2000. Helen was a former Avon representative. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Rome Moose Club. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Mary Coluccio, Campbell, Calif.; a daughter, Sandra Wolfe, East Rochester, N.Y.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Charles Tennyson, Chestertown, N.Y., Earl Tennyson, Cohoes, N.Y., Marie Prior, Rome, Marjorie Harris, Riverview, Fla., Ann Diamond, Oklahoma City, Ok., Gladys Leonard, Shreveport, La.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marla J. Coluccio, who passed away March 20, 1988, and four brothers, George Denton, James Denton, Cecil Denton and Clarence Tennyson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Floyd United Methodist Church, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be in Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 218 W. Court St. on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
