Mary Patane Felice
1930 – 2024
Mary Patane Felice, 93, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 08, 2024, at Rome Health, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Rome, NY, on November 25, 1930, daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Scuderi Patane. On January 15, 1949, Mary was united in marriage to Joseph John Felice at St. John the Baptist Church in Rome, NY. He passed away on March 05, 2016.
For many years, Mary enjoyed participating in bowling, fishing, playing cards and visiting the casino.
Surviving are a son, Noah (Karen) Felice, Syracuse, four grandsons; Matthew G. (Julie) Felice, Maryland, Joshua (Lem Lem) Felice, California, Christopher Felice, Colorado, and John C. Garrett, of Sylvan Beach, two granddaughters; Sara E. Garrett, Naples, FL, and Sydney Spector, Syracuse, NY, six great-grandchildren; Matthew Felice, Jr., Mia Felice, Noam Felice, and Linoy Felice, Connor J. Foist, and Bentley Michael Garrett, two sisters; Carmela Patane Edwards and her significant other, Warren Donaldson, Rome, NY, and Stella Patane Mutton, as well as several loving nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Jo Felice Garrett, a brother, Joseph Patane, a sister-in-law, Catherine Calandra Patane, a brother-in-law, Merle Mutton, and a brother-in-law, Richard O. Edwards.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all staff on Floor 3E, at Rome Health, for all their care and compassion during Mary’s time there.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, she will be donating her body to the Suny Upstate Medical University Anatomical Gift Program. Services will be held at a later date for Mary and her late husband Joseph J. Felice. There are no calling hours.
