Obituary of Angeline Rose Lombino Gotti
Angeline Rose Lombino Gotti, 106, of Rome passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Bethany Gardens Skilled Living Center.
Angie was born in Rome, NY, on April 25, 1918, the daughter of the late Anthony and Frances Ulla Lombino. On June 28, 1947, Angie married Vito L. Gotti in St. John the Baptist Church. A loving and devoted union for fifty years until Vito’s passing in January 1998.
Angie was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking, cooking and teaching her family Italian recipes.
Angie is survived by her children: Patricia (Vincent) Martinelli, Patrick (Carol) Gotti, Anne Fleming, Joanne (John) Ramm, Frances (Patrick) Guilfoil, daughter-in-law, Sandra Gotti, Gerald (Sharon) Gotti, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Vito Gotti, a son, Anthony Gotti and son-in-law, Dennis Fleming, brothers: Dominick, John, Emmanuel and Charles Lombino, sisters: Jennie Williams, Rose Marino and Josephine Coniglio
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, aides and staff of Bethany Gardens, for the loving care and compassion shown to Angie over the years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at St. John the Baptist Church, 210 E. Dominick St., Rome, NY, with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
