Obituary of Christopher J Gullo
Christopher J. Gullo
1964 – 2024
Christopher J. Gullo, 60, of Rome, passed away unexpectedly on Monday June 10, 2024. He was born in Rome, N.Y. on March 10, 1964, son of Joseph and Suzanne Phillips Gullo. Christopher attended Rome schools and graduated from Rome Free Academy. He was employed as a Recreational Program Leader by New York State Department of Corrections at Mohawk Correctional Facility.
Chris will be remembered by all his family and friends for his smile and contagious laugh. He truly enjoyed his mornings at his favorite coffee spots, Mapledale Dairy and DONna’s cafe. Chris loved taking his children on long drives just listening to music, especially Michael Jackson, and singing together. He was a man with so much life and love for his children, he would’ve done anything for their happiness. If he wasn't watching a Jets football game, he was reading a Daniel Silva novel. His greatest achievement in life is and forever will be his six children.
Chris is survived by his former wife, Jamie Manna, and their six children Tavia Mari, Carmalina Jo, Thomas Jet, Olivia Marie, Gio Salvatore, and Calogero Giuseppe, a brother, Joe (Gail) Gullo, nephew Brandon (Caitlin) Gullo, Niece Kristy (Zach) Ebersold; and two great nieces, Chloe and Marley. He was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Gullo, a mother Suzanne Snell, and his father Joseph Gullo.
There are no calling hours or services. Private burial will take place in St. John’s Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Rd. Rome, N.Y.
