Ryan wasn’t just our business partner, he was our family, our brother. He drove us nuts, like when he was always running late or being a walking tornado leaving a mess where ever he went and then two seconds later asking what he could do to help out around the brewery. Ryan was always willing to be there for us no matter what day, what time. We are so lucky to have spent so much time with Ryan over the last few years whether it being taste testers of his delicious food or sharing drinks and making plans after hours. Plans that we never remembered or executed.
Our family won’t be the same without him, 7 Hamlets won’t be the same without him and neither will we. We love you man. There will always be a clown baby on the bar for you.

We are supposed to share a couple memories of Ryan, some funny or touching tales but how am I supposed to choose one or two memories of someone i spent my life being inseparable with. About the person who you could always find following close behind me. There’s so much that comes to my mind and it’s so overwhelming, overwhelming with love, laughter, long heart felt talks and hours of practicing our wrestling moves on eachother. So to share just a couple memories with you all seems almost impossible and all i can think of is the things I have to say to him.
So, Ryan, my twin, my best friend, my partner in crime, the scapegoat,the Aragorn to my Legolas, i love you more than i can put into words. I was so lucky to grow up with my best friend in the room next to me, with a human so loyal and giving that he would always let me be the best character in any game we played. In every imaginary world we built together you let me be the main character, the strongest, the coolest, the bad ass, the ruler, always letting me be the one to save the day, not knowing that that made you the real hero, my hero. You showed me how important i was and how great i could be because you always let me be that person, saw me as that person and even when we grew up it never changed in your eyes. You always told me how much you looked up to me, how much of a role model i was, how proud of me you were and how much you wanted to do great things and make me proud. And i want you to know that I am who i am, i am that person because of you. If i could see myself through your eyes i know i would never have any reason to doubt myself and I would not be the person I am without you believing in me the way that you always have. But that just who you were, you believed in everyone around you, you gave without question, loved with no bounds and made everyone you were around smile. I was so proud to call you my brother, so proud of who you were, and so proud of everything you did. You told me that when i came back from the Air Force you and I would be the dynamic duo again, the unstoppable team. How with my brains and drive, and your charm and creativity, we could conquer the world. And now i am left, one half of a dynamic duo, half of who i was with you. But i will always carry you with me and you will always be my best friend. I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life and I will meet you again, at the mists of Avalon.

Ryan was the first person Cory introduced me to in his family and he treated me like I was a part of it since that moment. He took my son's on a tour of his food truck and won them over with his fries. At the end of the day, the boys left saying they had a new best friend. He talked me through helping my kids learn Minecraft and how to use the PlayStation. He always put in my requests when Isaac would play at the Brewery and on the weekends when Cory would have to work doubles he would sit and have a drink with me and catch up. He was the most kind, caring, generous person. He loved to see people happy and did all he could to make everyone smile. I am so grateful to have known him and will miss him every day.

Dearest Ryan,
Seems like forever, but it also seems like yesterday that you left us. I have missed you every day. I miss going to the brewery and having you there, your smile, your goofiness. I miss sitting there or walking in and having you give me a big smile and a big hug and tell me how delicious I smell. I will miss our Halloweens together. It was awesome having somebody to plan Halloween with and my zip-lining buddy. Talks about your hair/curls. I miss you dancing in the kitchen being goofy with Izzy and Dusty. I miss seeing you on the couch with Ariel trying to snuggle up to you, and the long talks about life we'd have. Was Instacartimg when I picked up an order for Seymour Avenue in Westmoreland. I zoomed in on the address and realized that I was shopping for Ryan and his food truck. I texted him and he texted me back and we had a grand old time taking and joking while I shopped! When I delivered, he came running out to help me carry everything and gave me an extra tip. What a great kid who was a fine example of his parents.

Ryan and I rode the bus together growing up, he always sat in front of me and my friends and was constantly standing over the seat to talk to us and make jokes. Flash forward to adulthood and he kept that same outgoing, humourous attitude. We grew close once again and he became one of the greatest friends. From always complementing my outfits when I walked up to the food truck, to cheering for me when I came in after a softball game (win or loss). He let me cry on his shoulder, gave me advice and he never let me get down on myself.
He had this amazing ability to make anyone smile and laugh. He was the brightest shining light. He will forever be missed. We love you Ry!

We had the honor of meeting Ryan through my sister Stephanie. Since the first time we met him he fit right in with our family. He was so kind and nice and easy going. My 8year old son at the time was especially obsessed with Ryan. They had such a special connection, everytime Ryan was around it was a fun time watching both of them interact. Ryan was natural with kids and was so loved by our family. We send our deepest condolences and may Ryan rest in paradise.

To my dearest Ryan, it’s taken me days to truly find the words but it’s been one of the most difficult things I’ve had to do ever in my life, so here I go. Getting to know to know you and your love has been an absolute privilege and you’ve really set the bar high for knowing what true love is and feels like. I still remember the first time I met you back in April of 2017, I had this strong feeling you were the one. I asked my roommate at Syracuse if she would come along with me to meet you in Rome for the first time. So here we were, driving our way out there where I would meet you, Dylan and Dan for the first time. We instantly connected and were inseparable. In our four and half years of being together, we still were inseparable, despite the distance, and really flourished our relationship to levels we never thought a relationship could possibly reach. We’ve seen each other at some of our best and worst times of our lives and supported each other along the way. We laughed, we cried, fought, you name it— everything a normal couple would do. If there is one thing I want you know is that you taught me so much about myself that I have so much gratitude for you. Thank you for the bottom of my heart for teaching me what patience and communication is all about. You have made everyone in your life so proud for making your dreams into a reality by opening up Come and Get It food truck and getting through the trials and tribulations of what we call Life. Boy I cheered you on like your own cheerleader because I knew you were so capable of accomplishing anything you put your mind to and always believed in you. I’ll never forget the trips we took traveling to Denver and Spain where we learned so much about each other in those trips. I speak so highly of you with friends and family and I’m so proud to continue speaking your name so highly. I will ensure your name lives on forever.
So to my first true love, favorite travel buddy, foodie, stylish and handsome boy, I’m so lucky to have experienced your love and be loved by you. Ryan was a rare person. No one was a stranger to him. He'd remember your name from your very first order, and say hi to you by name every time you saw him. He'd always ask if he could make a free burger for my dog, sometimes literally doggie bags because my dog wasn't with me that day. I did the CNY stair climb and went to Hamlets after. When he found this out he refunded me and my friends for our meals. I tried to pay, he would not accept by any means. He was always smiling and happy. He felt like a good friend although I only knew him from his amazing food truck. How could a stranger be your friend? I think he could see everyone's soul. I read comments on Facebook that made me smile... wow I wasn't the only person he did all this nice stuff for. He knew everyone by name. He gave everyone free dog burgers. He made everyone laugh. He made everyone feel welcome. He was that awesome to EVERY one. This is such a loss, affecting even those who were only lucky to be in his presence for a few minutes at a time, maybe 10 times a year. Rest in peace buddy, we're all going to miss everything about you.
