Obituary of Shirley M Heilig
Shirley M. Heilig, 80, of Rome, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 exactly 15 years to the day, from the passing of her husband Thomas. She was born in Turin, NY, on April 13, 1943 daughter of the late Paul and Alice Capron Fazekas. She graduated from VVS schools and retired from New York State DDSO, Camden, NY, where she was a nurse her entire career.
Surviving are two daughters; Kimberly Storey and her significant other Chris Pawlikowski, Westmoreland and Tracy Reames-Bush and her husband Stanley A. Bush III, Bridgeport, NY, grandchildren, Ashley, Jon (Gabi), Allison and a special friend Michael Hluska, Jr., Rome.
Funeral Services will be private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Verona Cemetery.
