Obituary of Jennifer L Rafte

Jennifer L. Rafte, 49, of Rome, passed away on Sunday June 11, 2023, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y., after a brief illness. She was born in Jamestown, N.Y. on May 11, 1974, daughter of Anthony Sanfilippo and Belinda Lu Edick. Jennifer was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. In 2009, she married David A. Rafte II, in Verona, N.Y. Jennifer was employed at Rome Memorial Hospital, Medical Records for over 25 years.

Surviving besides her husband Dave, are her father, Anthony (Chris) Sanfilippo, Jamestown, N.Y., stepfather, Glenn Tebo, Rome, a sister, Molly (Peter) Trela, and two brothers, Joshua, (Jessica Eaton) Sanfilippo, Justin (Ashley Link) Sanfilippo, step-brother, Dan (Marissa) Delahoy, Jamestown, N.Y., and a step-sister, Dawn Delahoy, of Falconer, N.Y., and several beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cherished animal companions, Nico, Stormy, and Lucky.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Nicholas J. Bush Funeral Home, Inc., 7751 Merrick Street, Rome, on Saturday June 17, 2023 from 1 – 4 p.m.
