You were a great neighbor, Frank. Always smiling! So friendly to the kids. The world was a better place with you in it. But now you can shoot all the eagles and holes-in-one you deserve.

Dear Angela and Family,
Alice and I are deeply sorry for your loss. Frank was indeed a gentleman and had a wonderful personality.. Growing up I really got to know the Viviani family and have so many fond memories of those early years. Frank will be truly missed by all.
During this difficult time, God will sustain you knowing that Frank is resting in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. May God bless all of you and keep you in his care.

Frank was one of my greatest friends and classmates. I will always cherish and remember when he visited me and my family up in the Adirondacks in Dannemora over the years. I will always remember the fun times we had when we were together in college and in later years. I had the fortune of remaining great friends with Frank over the years, he was one of the best golfers I've ever known.
Love,
Leo (Skip) Maggy class of 1958

Deepest condolences to the Viviani family. Palma worked with me at Sanzone's and she was an angel to me. She adored her kids and family and couldn't hide her smile when talking about them. A very special family. May our prayers comfort you as you celebrate Frank's life.

I was fortunate to meet Frank when we were enshrined together in The Rome Sports Hall of Fame in 2005. What a great guy! For the next 18 years, whenever we'd run into each other, it was truly like catching up with an old friend. "How's the family?" "What are you up to?" "What do you hear from so-and-so?" Frank was an easy going guy and made you feel like you were important to him. I'll miss those encounters with him. He was a special man! I won't be able to attend the calling hours but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you lay Frank to rest. We'll see him again in God's heaven. Rest in Peace my friend...until we run into each other then.

Like so many, I loved Frank. He was always so positive, and enthusiastic about life (and golf). My father, Marshall Land, and Frank enjoyed many wonderful hours on the golf course and range together. I enjoyed a little time with Frank on the golf course, and much more in conversations. I had a lengthy chat with him on the phone about a month ago - we made plans for my wife and I to come over from Vermont to take him out to lunch, but covid got in the way. He sounded strong, and as full of energy and positivity as ever. As always, he made me feel better. He was always full of joy, and shared that with others. He defined the best of the human spirit. Rest in peace, Frank. Enjoy teeing it up with my Dad again.

Angie - I was so sad when I heard of Frank’s passing. I have many memories of Frank from as a young girl who wanted to be good at golf, to a waitress who worked at Teugega and then as a guest seeing both of you most recently this past summer. In recent years, every time I visited the course I hoped and usually saw Frank who always always had a big smile, warm greeting and remembered my name. Frank was very special and he will be greatly missed by many.

Many hours with Frank were shared on the golf course. He will be remembered for his gentlemanly manner, friendly demeanor and warm smile. Our walks on the fairways of Teugega will not be the same without Frank’s encouragement. He will be missed.
