Obituary of Lola J. Baker
Lola J. Baker, 87, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Lola was born in California, the daughter of the late Jim and Ola Cobble, on March 22, 1935. Lola was educated in California schools before settling in Rome. She was a homemaker and caretaker of many homes. She was a member of the Assembly of God.
Surviving are two grandsons, Shaun (Michelle) Anson of Rome, NY, and Brian Anson (Shannon Benoit) of Port Leyden, NY, great-grandchildren Emma Stagner, Kyle Anson, and Tyler Stagner, all of Rome, and Makayla Anson, and Austin Blair, of Port Leyden. Also, surviving is a daughter-in-law, Jamie Anson, of Rome. Lola was predeceased by her sons, Eddie Anson and Dennis Anson, and a daughter, Patrice Anson.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
